Yunnan tuocha tea, however, is one of a few teas known as “pu-erh cha”, made from an ancient subspecies of the tea plant, Camellia sinensis assamica. It is grown in the Yunnan province of southern China. “Tuo cha” means bowl-shaped tea. It refers to the method of shaping the pu-erh tea during drying. Experts recommend drinking three cups of this type of tea every day.* Enjoy it hot or iced. Drink it as is, or try adding lemon and your favorite sweetener. Pu-erh – Yunnan tuocha tea leaf We use oxygen bleached tea bags. Our boxes are made from recycled paperboard and biodegradable inks.
Suggested Use: Experts recommend drinking three or more cups of pu-erh tea a day.* For additional support, drink any of Triple Leaf Tea’s Green, Jasmine Green, Decaf Green, White, or Oolong Teas.* Brewing Directions: HOT TEA: Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag, Let steep 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bag, squeeze gently. ICE TEA Pour 1 cup of boiling water over 2 tea bags. Let steep 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bags, squeeze gently, then add ice. To extract more of teas benefits, steep 5 minutes. For a delicious change, try it with lemon and honey, or your favorite sweetener.
